Along the bottom of the Synthonic CD cover, it says:
"A portion of the proceeds to benefit the Cousteau Society."
...I thought I'd tell you a little more.
When I was growing up, Sunday nights were TV night. There was Lassie and Flipper and Disney. And then there was The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau. Each week, I'd sit transfixed as Commander Cousteau and his crew showed us these amazing videos of life under the sea. I loved it! The freedom of floating in those undersea gardens. I've only been diving once but I don't think I would have done it even once if it hadn't been for all those Sunday nights.
So as I was finishing the Transportation Suite and realized that the vehicles I'd written about were all French or Franco influenced, I thought back to those nights and decided that I wanted to help out with this cause that had inspired my youth.
As a result, I've decided that 10% of what Synthonic brings to me will go to the Cousteau Society to further their efforts in ocean research and conservation!
